Indigo is a privately held company with business operations in three cities in the U.S. Indigo owns and manages legacy variable annuity blocks acquired from other entities. Indigo was initially created through a carve out with three private equity investors in 2018.

Carve Out and Stand-Up – Prior to acquisition of first policy block. Led the workstreams across real estate, branding, human resources, general ledger conversion, and corporate insurance. Negotiated all key third-party vendor contracts including market data, accounting, HRIS, and business process outsourcing.

Separation and Migration – Lift/shift infrastructure from Seller into cloud-first technology strategy for the firm. Led selection and deployment of technology infrastructure, hedge trading systems and operations, migration of derivatives hedge portfolio across brokerage community from Seller, investment accounting, claims management, general ledger, regulatory reporting. Led implementation of portfolio accounting across stable of investment managers and the derivative hedge trading services. Partnered with Legal regarding IMA negotiations with outsourced investment managers, implementation of operations for collateral and margin management, facilitation of ISDA agreements and clearing agreements, and coordination of novation trades from Seller in coordination with broker dealer community.
